MBIT Volunteers

MBIT Volunteer Group, established in June 2020, is a subsidiary of Mis Bangladesh - In Training (MBIT). Our organization is dedicated to social welfare initiatives focused on reform and rebuilding in Bangladesh. Our primary objective is to develop and implement sustainable social initiatives, including programs for children, women, and overall national development.

 

As of October 2024, MBIT Volunteer Group has successfully organized 18 events, including:

  • Providing financial assistance for injured student protesters

  • Supporting underprivileged individuals who lost employment due to protests

  • Flood relief and rehabilitation efforts

Our ongoing projects include:

  • Ensuring proper nutrition for child brain development

  • Parenting training for a brighter future in Bangladesh

  • Female self-defense initiatives

  • Environmental awareness campaigns

  • Educating youth on civic duties and peace campaigns

Additionally, MBIT Volunteer Group offers training programs for youth, focusing on:

  • Leadership development

  • Effective communication

  • Basic safety protocols

  • Rescue operations

  • Project management

  • First aid

Upon completing our training programs and passing a comprehensive exam, participants become registered volunteers and join our community.

MBIT's Mir Mughdho Volunteer Group is named after martyr Mir Mughdho, who lost his life during his volunteer service in the July-August, 2024 Quota Protest in Bangladesh.

This branch of Mis Bangladesh - In Training (MBIT) was founded on August 6, 2024, and is fully dedicated to social work focused on reform and rebuilding in Bangladesh. As of October 2024, the Mir Mughdho Volunteer Group has organized 18 events, including providing treatment costs for injured protest students, helping underprivileged people who lost employment after the protest, female safety campaigns, peace campaigns, flood relief, and rehabilitation work.

The Mir Mughdho Volunteer Group also provides training to youth related to basic safety, rescue, first aid, and leadership. Upon successful completion of training and an exam, below are a few registered volunteers in our group.
