MBIT Pageants for Leadership

Dr. Nilufar Islam is a licensed civil engineer in multiple states in the US and Canada, with 17 years of experience in engineering. She is a recipient of multiple national awards in Canada for public speaking.

As a philanthropist with a passion for giving back, Dr. Islam leads multiple social work projects, including Project Nurjahan, which is dedicated to child nutrition in Bangladesh for optimal child brain development.

Dr. Islam is also the founder of Miss Bangladesh in Training (MBIT) and has voluntarily served as a pageant coach since 2020. As a dedicated mentor and trainer, she has worked with various pageants, including Miss Teen Bangladesh, Miss Aura Bangladesh, Miss World Bangladesh, and Miss International Bangladesh, empowering young women to achieve their goals.

Dr. Islam has held leadership roles in the Engineering Association and Canadian Water Resources Association, earning the prestigious Young Professional Award in 2018 in Canada.

Dr. Islam will teach multiple classes on pageant advocacy, speech, and social media etiquette!
